I guess nobody but me would notice it has no spark plugs, no distributor, no REAL exhaust system to make it quiet. It has to have an electric motor on it to make it turn. But if it did really run on its own, it wouldn't last long with no lubrication system and no cooling. Especially with the soft metal piston liners.

You left out the missing fuel supply, no battery, no starter, etc.

No, I honestly did not think it was running on its own, but I was also enthralled by the number of handmade miniature moving parts.

When I was younger, I built model planes and boats and simply appreciate the skill involved in making something like that tiny engine.

That man's work is totally, completely, utterly amazing. And he's right, it's passion (and a ton of talent) that allows him to do it. Nobody today could do it without a CAD / CAM system. Even then, I doubt any one person could do it. I'd love to meet that guy and shake his hand.

Not sure why but I'd love to have one of these. It's my understanding they make a blown Hemi too. This one runs.
