Doubt they will ever see the road....Railroad will own and most likely scrap them.

Man -- the thought of all those brand new trucks turned every which way inside those rail cars makes me cringe.....

Reminds me of back in 1986 when I was in High School in Benicia, CA...

The rail yards that most Fords (and Toyota, Nissan, and Mazda too) in California come into, is located there...we had severe rains, and flooded the yard...they called the high school and had Seniors drive the cars out of the yard and park them along the streets in the industrial park...I believe most were saved from flooding, but several were not so lucky...

For the effort, Ford donated a brand new Mustang SVO, and a Thunder Bird to the Auto Shop....they were to never be sold...25 years later, a buddy saw the SVO sitting for sale at the school district office...
