starting cold

When I crank my 91 f150 300 v6 in the morning it cuts off does anyone know why? It usually takes once or twice before it stays running for some reason.

Try turning the key to on (not start) then off then back to on and leave it on for about 3 to 5 seconds each time. Then start it and see if that helps. If it does then replace the fuel filter and test the fuel pressure. Could be a fuel pump on it's way out or just a plugged up fuel filter.

Test or have the fuel pressure checked.

Could be other things, but that is where I would start. Maybe someone else will chime in.
