2015 Dodge Challenger

I've been following this for a while... good lord that Hellcat engine is going to be a monster. Over 600 HP from the factory. I kept reading over the past few months where the heads at SRT were saying the Challenger was going to have more power than the Viper

I'd love to rip down the street in that monster Still a die hard mustang guy but man you gotta appreciate awesome American Muscle

The Scat Pack is being brought back too. Crazy! Level 3 has ported heads and headers! http://blog.dodge.com/heritage/hive-...nel=paidsearch

It's certainly hard to argue with the aesthetics of the Challenger -- that is one nicely executed "retro" design! In fact, I'd even place it slightly ahead of the '05 - '09 Mustang in the looks department, although you don't realize how big the Challenger really is until you see one parked next to a true pony car!

As for the styling of the '10 - '14 Mustang and the Camaro: BARF.......!!!!

That's what I was thinking -- a new front grille and a new tail panel and that's about it. To be honest, I prefer that they do that rather than stick on a bunch of plastic cladding to try and make the same sheet metal look different! I actually thought the Challenger might go the way of the Dodo bird -- I don't think they sell that many units in the average year......

I'd rather have the 662hp 2014 Shelby GT 500, but I can't afford either one.

I like the Challengers. It is time they stepped up the HP to compete with the Mustang GT 500's and the Camaro Z28's.

I have to say though, for me it's about more than power.

Looks and handling. The real eye opener for me was the 2013 gt500 v 2012 Boss test. Over 200 less HP and the Boss was very close to the gt500. 400-450 is all I'd want in a car. Then again, I'm not into racing. If you look up the test it showed just how incredible the Boss model is.

That's a sexy car.

The Sheriffs Dept here has always been known for having at least one stupid fast patrol cars and they have either a 2013 or 2014 in there fleet. If you see it in your rear view with the disco lights on don't try to out run in it because you will fail.

Florida highway patrol still has several late '90s / early 2000s Z28 Camaros in service around here.

Big X2. Still rather have a GT500. Pricing is what matters on this "Hellcat," because GT500s are dirt cheap in HP per dollar.

Wanna know what annoys me most about Challengers? Sloppy, flimsy feeling manuals and FLOOR brakes like on a friggin truck - no thank you. I hate their manuals.
