Cool. Like music to my ears. Guess I'm easy to please though. I like the sound of my 3.7 F150.

Lots of great sounding cars in there - thanks for posting.

Jag E type 6 cylinder, Ford GT40 w/289 and the '67 Vette with 427 were some of my favorites.

That once again confirmed I do not like the sound of a V10. The Porsche Carrera GT and Audi R8 are both cars I'd love to own but they don't sound near as good as the others.

One of the V8 Ferraris sounded worse than most V6s too. Small displacement motors, even with the "right" number of cylinders, still don't sound right. I personally don't care for V12s either because they're horribly raspy in person, but they all sound "good" in their own ways.

One of the best exhausts I have heard in my life is on a local Masserati. It's a 4.7 V8 and I have never heard anything like it. It was a nice exotic burble at low speeds and when the guy opened it up it was loud.
