Driveworks Parts

I've had issues with Driveworks parts for some reason (well I think I know why) they just don't hold up. I noticed the ball joint on my Jeep Compass' LCA had lots of play in it. So I yanked the LCA and noticed the rubber bushings were even developing cracks! This on both sides, passenger and drivers sides! Only ~20k miles on them, and this bad? Crap, my Moogs and OEMs lasted 60k and I thought that was low.

I went out and got Moog loaded LCAs and noticed they already had a much better build to them in comparison -- as always.

I didn't think that it would make much of a difference... but it sure did.

The only parts I tend to go with is Moog, Beck Arnley, and PDQ, and OEM. But this Driveworks brand is rubbish. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

Just thought I'd point this out as Advance Auto sells this brand.
