I Want This SOOOO Bad!

1964 F100 - 302 turning a C6 auto, Heidts IFS, front disc brakes . Love this truck. Dealer wants $17,500 - little high, I think. I hadn't inquired about it, but I couldn't make a move until June anyway. Hopefully, it'll still be there. If so, I'll definitely check it out. - Og

Interesting seeing the twin I beam badge on a '64. I thought that twin I beam didn't come out until 65 or later?

Very nice truck, though, I love that body style. And the good thing is it isn't a Uni.

Saw a thread on another board a while back where a guy was putting that body style on an EcoBoost. Don't know if it ever got done, but it was a very cool thread.

It was awhile back, but it is probably still on their board. Garage Journal was the board, if I can say that on here without getting into trouble. I haven't been on there for a long time, so that's why I'm not sure about the status of the truck.

Neat truck, although I'm not real crazy about the rim and tire package -- I'd have to yank those for something more period-correct right out of the box. I also don't think that price is all that high -- what would it cost you to find a project truck, do all the metal work to get the body into "paintable" condition, apply your finishes, and then run through the mechanicals to get the vehicle to the point where this truck is already sitting?

Here's your answer: WAY MORE THAN $17,000.00!!!!

No question -- there is always some wiggle room on transactions like this. Let us know if you are able to complete a deal......

I was always a little confused about that too. My dad has a twin I beam 64 too.

Nice looking truck!

'64 the turn signals were beside the headlights.
'65 the turn signals were moved above the headlights.

That looks like a '65 front end.
