I only know my old Fords by the turn signals.
61-64 between the headlights
65-66 above the headlight
67-72 below the headlight
73-77 back on top again
78 below again
until 87 when they became the modern 'corner lights'

...oh, in '42 you had to put your arm out the window

It was described as a "shop truck". I'm assuming the prior owner may have tinkered with it a bit. Still, looks pretty good. - Og

That looks like a '65 front end.
I was going to say it has a 65 front end and my dads 64 twin I beam has the 64 front end.

From the looks of the interior and exterior, it is definitely a 65. As said earlier, 65 was the first year for the twin I-Beam suspension. Love the old school look in and out, but ditch the wheels and put some Crager SS's on it to finish it.
