As many times as I want to trade mine in to get a dream diesel... I just can't... for many reasons, other than it's stick. Mostly because I had it when my father was alive. So its got sentimental value to me.

I would have a hard time giving it up, like in the show Heartland, where Jack doesn't want to give up his 20+ year old truck...

I'll probably wind up just holding on to it forever, and still get my dream truck.

That pretty much sounds like exactly what I'd get. Nice stock 20s, maybe a little 2/3.5 or 1/2.5 (if I could) drop, long tubes, tint, and call it a day.

I plan on making mine into my dream truck, it's halfway there. But I would love an older diesel. No way I could sell mine though. It's got too much sentimental value to me, and I don't have nearly as much "reason" as you do.

In all seriousness, good luck with the Ram . As long as you dont drive it to often it should hold up pretty well
That's what I was thinking since it's not my daily driver! Lol It would be a good race since my Ram is much lighter than your Crew Cab.

Yeah I will but I like the dealer stated I had something that they really wanted & they had a truck that more suited my trucking needs more efficiently! It was a great deal for both of us!

This deal just got better as the FL-820-S is a cross reference fit for the 2012 5.7 Hemi! Lol I still have two cases left!

Really? Some kid was showing me his 2012 Impala the other day and when looking at the engine, I was like "Hey, nice Mopar oil filter." Like WTF?

Congratulations! I can understand. I have a 2005 Dodge Magnum with the 340hp 5.7 hemi. It has so much torque and hp that it makes me smile every time I drive it! It does a much better job of towing my boat than my 02 5.4 truck. It has much better brakes and way more torque.

My assistant just brought me a big slice of her homemade cheesecake, with cherries on top.

Sounds like a win win for you. I think personally the new hemis are kicking a$$. New 6.4 hemis are pushing 470whp and about the same TQ wise. I'm sure the ram is no Slouch with 390bhp and 407 ft.lbs.

I've never liked the styling of the rams but that doesn't mean there not great pickups. You've got to admit there new hemis are putting the hurt on ford/GM.
