That's pretty darn slick! What materials did you use? I'd prefer the grill surround be PTM instead of black, but very nice work either way. I really that the Ford emblem and the fact that you outlined the Ford

I really like the oval emblem.. Very creative, nice job..

Just wonder how it'll hold up over time with out any clear on it. But that's what I like about it, that it's flat. Id like one with a white stripe please

Should start making and selling these quickly before someone on here steals your idea

First and foremost I hate you because you are wearing flip flops which means the weather is warm

Secondly that looks great .... like Kent said I do prefer the surround to be PTM since that's a lot of black on your truck but it does match the emblems now.

Third is that done with Plastidip?

High of 79 here today and I'm sweating

tg150, they do make flat/matte clear, so you can do that to protect it and still keep that look

I'm sure you have heard of plasti dip? That's what I used. I would have loved to ptm outer part of grille but this is on a low budget and I'm sure it would be very hard to find ingot silver in a rattle can. But thanks for the compliment. Still more to come.

Thanks man. Ill tell you what tho it was a pain in the neck to get off of the grille but with some finess and a hammer it came off. It will be fine without any clear on for a while. There's like 5 coats on everything.

If your serious about wanting one I'll do it. Pm me if your serious.

Plastidip has their own clearcoat that actually works really well, if you want to try that. It makes a huge difference in my opinion.

automotivetouchup.com has color-matched paint for $20 a can and one can is enough to do the whole grill surround. If you get clear with it, it comes out to $40 shipped plus $7 for a can of plastic adhesion primer (I used Valspar). Well worth it when/if the time comes.

I've used the PD clear and that paint and been pleased with both.

That whole thing is done VERY well though, so props again.

Thanks every one. Went with red and black only because those are my two favorite colors put together.

Thanks for the info. I'm going to buy some silver paint just to have it. Plus the plastic primer.

Ya I knew pd had their own clear just wasn't sure if it would mess the matte finish up. I don't want the gloss look.

Thanks for the props.
