Global warming ship

Anybody else think it is hilarious the the ship with a bunch of people studying global warming got stuck in the ice in the summertime (southern hemisphere). And at least one ice breaker sent to rescue them also got stuck.

While not near as bad as Chicago, tonight's low in MD is supposed to be 2. Tomorrows high 13. Haven't seen temps that low for quite a while.

Don't y'all know the term Climate Change has replaced Global Warming? That way anytime the weather isn't sunny and 75* the tree huggers can claim victory. I actually saw a news article today trying to explain how all this cold air is a direct result of Global Warming.

That's just like the tree huggers that got stuck in the ice at the bottom of the earth in their special research ship! LOL They still claim that the Polar ice is melting even while stuck in ice! LOL Did you ever see the house that Al Gore lives in and the huge SUV's he drives? They are so full of it!

Got that right.
I just roof raked the edges ( ice dams were starting to form already ) and got the drift out of the driveway.

I waited until the ambient high temp of the day @ -12*F

My work colleague in MSP on the 9:00 gum scraping call said it was -21*F at his house. Only thing he had going was no wind..yet.

I am sure the CAN members are calling me a big sissy pants for complaining abut this.
- One guy had -32*F temps on his way home the other day.

I am on the short side of it now, by noon tomorrow it is going to be 1*F, so the worst will be over..

Thanks, Obama

It was 26*F this morning. I woke up at 5am to be at work at 6 and I was freezing my butt off. Two days ago, I was walking around in shorts. WTF.

Breaking news. Both the Russian and Chinese ships are free. Seems the wind shifted and cracks opened in the ice allowing them to start moving.
