FaceBook Experts...

I'm no FB junkie, but have an issue I can't figure out.

My wife is a 'friend' on FB; obviously. Out of the blue a few days ago, she dissapeared. I can't see anything about her and she's gone from my friends. If I do a search (like you'd search for someone that's not a friend) she doesn't show up at all. It works as if she just doesn't exist. If I go to another friends timeline where we know she's posted comments and such, I can't see them. Again, as if she doesn't exist. We did notice a picture that she "liked" and it had her name there that 'such and such' likes this, but her name is not hyperlinked at all.

She did not unfriend me or block me in any way nor did I do this to her.

Now here's the kicker...she is having the exact same, mirror image problem with me. I am gone from her friends, she can't find me in a search, nothing.

I played with it for an hour the other day and can't find a way to contact anyone or figure how to get support to undo whatever happened.

We have both looked in our settings and we do not have each other blocked...that much I have figured out.

Any thoughts?

I know you've said it, but it appears she unfriended you and blocked you. I'd contact the Facebook peeps.

Sounds like a win to me. Bring on the local college coeds.

Maybe you are the victim of the unfollow button. Don't know if they are having problems, but you never can tell.

Yes, this has crossed my mind. But that's the intenet of my thread...can't figure out how to contact them. I'll keep looking.

Yes you can. However in this particular scenario, I can't find her (and she says she can't find me) during a normal people search to even send a new friend request.

Load up your Facebook on your computer, have her load up hers on her computer. Look at the full URL in the address bar in the browser. Trade them and see what happens when you try to load each others'. With luck, you will be able to send each other friend requests.

Could your problem have anything to do with this?
