Being in AZ, Uhaul was going to be my guess, but as usual, I'm late to the party....

Vehicles in general are getting to where they do not depreciate in the first couple years, and with rebates and offers on new vehicles, it's hard to justify buying a used car. Especially financing since you usually get a better rate with new cars than used. Both my truck and my girlfriends mustang we bought new this year because it was cheaper in the long run to buy new.

Yeah I found this one. I've seen people on here saying how they like this dealership. If those prices are legit, then I would justsave a bit longer and try to grab one like this.

Stx 5.0 rcsb

My other thing is I'd rather something set-up near how I'd want it. I wouldn't play with it like my truck now. The Stx gets me everything for a bit more money but all I'd change are the lights, ad oem 20s and exhaust and everything else would be left alone for the most part. So I guess at that point paying a bit more initially is cheaper in the long run.

They've seen more air and grinding than a snowboard at the X-Games I'd vote pass on them as well.

Nice looking truck, I wish I could have gotten a regular cab, but I just need more room.

Even the super cabs are dirt cheap so maybe I could grab one of those instead. It's like 2k more

If all you want is a daily driver don't ignore the 3.7, it's really a decent engine. It's got more guts than a 04+ with a 4.6 2 valve.

What/where have you been looking at? My buddy bought a 2013 5.0 that was decently stripped down with cloth but power stuff for $25k brand new, and that was RIGHT when the 13s came out (literally the first week). Less than $27k out the door.

A 2011 with ~30k miles will be right in your budget in a little bit

Oh, I can break one in 100! But 10k extra tough miles vs. 60k tough miles . . . I'd take the 10k personally.

No, they are Australian Cattle Dogs aka Queensland Healer or Blue Healer.

Yeah they are both usually up to no good...Except the rare occasion when they sleep like in the first pic Greddy is passed out after his puppy training class.

Some good posts in here.

I think if I am in the situation where I could do this finanically next year, I would just see what I could work out with a Texas dealership, fly down and drive it back. The prices are so much more expensive up here. My thing is, with the cost of what I am seeing used cars and trucks go for, I should just save for a while longer and go new. I will have some student loans so I want to be careful, but I think a new vehicle with a warranty is better anyways. I've never had a payment before (paid in cash) so I think it would be manageable if I had a good down payment. My other thought is I really want a regular cab but things happen in life and I wouldn't want to sell it a few years later because of a family. I really want one though, always have.

Are these Texas dealers really selling at the prices listed?

I'd also consider a 3.7 Mustang 6sp so I can learn stick and eventually get one of the new styled ones. The new prices are close to the used prices for a 2011-12 where I am in Ma.

I'd just borrow an ole four speed beater truck to practice stick in. Granny low and inline six or diesel torque to learn ya quick

The company I linked sells pretty much at those prices, only a few hundred worth of room. But I wouldn't worry too much about getting a car solely to practice in. Give it a few weeks of driving it after work and whatnot while commuting your truck, and you'll be as good as you need to be to never stall on a commute If a GT is what you truly want, get that the first go 'round. Getting a V6 as a temporary deal would only net you a large loss of money. But the new V6's are pretty darn quick if you think you'd be happy with one! And significantly cheaper it seems from that link
