Oklahoma

I hadn't seen any one post about the tornado that hit Moore Oklahoma. I know that natural disasters happen all over the country all of the time. A lot of people suffer and recover from Mother Natures wrath. Sometimes, it's just impossible to ignore.

Moore got slammed. I feel for the people that have to go through this, be it there, or anywhere.

I wish I could do more to help. All I can really do from where I am is donate. We can help.

I don't know if anyone wants to talk about this. I just wanted to express my concern, and give others a chance to do the same if they choose.

yea that was a tough one, but I think its just how it goes. Not much to prevent something like that. One of our local meteorologist said there are very few times that they recommend getting in the car and trying to out run it.

People don't seem to get revved up like they do with other tragedies such as terrorist or gun violence

I came through Shawnee about an hour and a half after the first twisters hit the state. Made it through without a problem, but a lot of people lost everything. These things are always heartbreaking.

we took a direct hit ... our house it totaled ... what really sucks is my wifes parents got hit in Shawnee Oklahoma on sunday night and we got hit on Monday afternoon ... we do have full insurance and now awaiting a rental house until we can find a new home to purchase.

if no one has been to Oklahoma I suggest you make a trip here .. everyone asks why we live in Oklahoma when we know this will happen . its all about the people here .. we had a local chuch with over 500 volunteers come to the house to help with cleanup .. now that's what we like to call the OKLAHOMA WAY

just want to say thank you to everyone around the world for all the prayers and donations to local counties affected . we will rebuild

Oklahomans are some of the nicest people I've ever met. I'm sure they'll have that area rebuilt in no time.

Prayers all around for them!
