So I bought a DD take a look
Guys/Gals
I never needed to drive my truck everyday I actually drove it once or twice a week for a very short distance but I'm working an assignment and I need to drive everyday. I drove the truck for about 2 months everyday but I decided to pick up a DD, save on gas and keep the miles off the truck

Why ruin the ride quality?

A lot of it depends on how it is dropped. In a truck where spacer blocks are removed or spring shackles are flipped it doesn't change much at all. In a small car it depends on how it is done. A full set of coil overs can drop it some and not hurt the ride too much. The lower you go the worse it typically gets. I've rode in cars that were cranked all the way down to the stops. They would knock the fillings out of your teeth. If the springs are cut like the ricers do the ride will be horrible.
In my experience any daily driver dropped the right way results in good ride quality (my truck for example). A blanket statement by an uneducated person that dropping a vehicle automatically equates to poor ride quality is asinine IMO.
There is a big difference between a truck that starts out with relatively high ground clearance and ample suspension travel, and a small car that's already pretty low to the ground with limited suspension travel.
