Thanks! I used a Nikon D300, and a Nikon 200mm f/2 VRII lens. I posted some Cardinal photos last night.

So would you recommend Nikon cameras? My sister is always insistent on Canon cameras being the best.

I would highly recommend Nikon DSLRs. The high end Nikon DSLRs have much better high ISO performance, better AF, and much better WB than the Canon high end DSLRs. I have a friend in Austin Tx, who is a professional photographer. He has all Canon equipment, and has said if he didn't have such a large investment in Canon lenses, he would switch to Nikon.
