Thank you sir, it's awesome to see it with some wheels back on it! hahahaha, still need to attach the tie rods and sway bar end links. I plan on ordering the rear end parts later today or sometime soon.

Just received the new cross pin and u-joint, leaf springs should be here tomorrow, but I'm leaving thursday for a few days to go spend some time with the gf. When I get back, I hope to knock the rear end out quick.

So beginning Thursday, you'll be manipulating rear ends for awhile ? Doesn't sound all bad.

Been out of the loop for awhile since the girlfriend has been taking up a lot of my time. However, I've been able to do a little here and there.....so the rear end is cleaned up and painted, and I just removed the old wheel studs and am going to put the new ones in tomorrow.

I also finally received both of my leaf springs and have pretty much everything to put it all back on the car. Just need the weather to be nice and it should be back in driving condition in a few days.

Now that the gf is done with school, I'm not running the roads as much. Already have the rear end about ready to be put back in.

Not too much left to do, had a bit of trouble with the caliper brackets and spacers the kit came with, but it's figured out and everything is as it should be.
Today I should be sliding it back under the car along with the new leaf springs and I'm hoping I can get the fuel tank back there too!

Yes sir, a whole new trunk, frame rails and driver floor pan will be done asap. As for the wheel wells and other non-structural areas they will be addressed later on.

Leaf springs are in, rear end is in, just need to finish bolting up the shocks and torque everything when I set it down. Also, need to run the lines on the rear which shouldn't be a big deal, then it's time for the gas tank to go back in and hopefully it's done and ready for an alignment!

parking brake cables are on and working, hard lines all hooked up, and it's that much closer to being back on the road!
Just need to put the tie rod ends on, torque everything down and then put the gas tank back in.

Buttoned everything up today, put some fresh gas in the tank and it started right up. Pushed it down the driveway and sure enough the brakes worked awesome, after rolling it back and forth for awhile it went on it's first maiden voyage under it's own power and new stopping power. No problems whatsoever!

Going to put the sway bar end links on tomorrow and hopefully get it aligned soon.
