he's the olympic swimmer that swam with Micheal Phelps. He's been interviewed several other times and places and he's not the sharpest knife in the drawer....

I thought that the entire McFarlane hosting episode was a step above most recent hosting gigs. I think SNL thrives most when they have someone who understands comedic timing as host. Although, non-comedian hosts like Peyton and Eli have been great as well.

My fave sketch from McFarlane's episode was the puppeteering one. Bill Hader can play almost any role, perfectly.
