2012 Tundra
Not to shabby, Im not one for the looks of those trucks (they have the look of a 4wd pavement princess) but to each there own.
A kid at my work just went and bought one of these, paid 6000 more for it than the other ones because it has a level kit and 33's on it
The whole made in america buying thing, I totally understand where you guys are coming from ( I try to buy domestic too) but to be really technical, the big 3 start out in Canada. The steel plant I work for is one of the suppliers of steel to Ford, chevy and dodge and also your military ... Just saying :P

I'm not fond of Toyota appliances.
But I do have this to add to the debate of "where the profit goes"
Name any American company and follow the profit trail: billionaire and millionaire investors plus fat bonuses to executives (even when they lose money)
As much as we challenge the profit going to Japan, even if it stayed here it's going to people we don't want it going to.
We on the bottom are pooched either way

Exactly the reason I won't buy Scamsoil products, or any other pyramid marketing scheme companies.

I've always liked the way the new Tundras look -- not sure what it is about the styling that rubs folks around here the wrong way?
All of the Toyota trucks down here have a sticker in the rear window that reads, "Built In Texas By Texans" in an obvious attempt to combat the foreign manufacturer perception. I wonder if they use a different sticker with a similar message on the trucks they ship somewhere other than Texas?

As I've said a long time ago on this forum: the new Tundra looks like a Ram with Down's Syndrome

Jk
