They would have to set up a production line in the States or pay a 25% import tax (see Chicken Tax) to use the Ranger now made in Indonesia. That would put the price above the F-150 and it wouldn't sell in enough numbers to make it worthwhile.

The Expy gets a redesign for YM 2013. Engine choices are the 3.5 V6, 5.0 V8, and the 5.4 3V. The 5.4 will rated to tow 10,000lbs with the tow package. It's not going away.

Hopefully they clean up the styling of the Expedition with the next re-do. I really liked it when it first came out roughly based on the '97-'03 pick-ups, but the current version looks downright "bloated" to me - way too much plastic cladding and styling features that look like they were just stuck on the base vehicle with 3M mounting tape.....
