New "family" car

Well, the old diesel Benz in my signature didn't last long. Those 31 year old brakes didn't do so well stopping that HEAVY car. I was in an accident a few weeks ago and it's totalled. Allstate is moving the process along pretty slowly so last night, my wife and I picked up a "new" ride with the assistance of the bank.

It's a 2003 Mach 1 with 20K miles. The previous owner ditched the Magnum 500 wannabes for a set of Bullitt rims (a decision I support and probably would've done myself) with a slight stagger in tire sizes. He also removed the stock black spoiler in favor of the Cobra ducktail spoiler. I'll list my opinion there as "TBD" but I like the way it works together. Other than these two changes, she's stock.

I just wanted to share. I'm excited to add this steed to my stable!

Sorry to hear about the Benz, but looks like you made out on the deal. Totally agree on the Bullitts. Nice ride!
