Need feedback!

So I will be taking my first trip to Vegas within the upcoming week and I was interested in suggestions some of you may have for things I can do there besides the obvious, GAMBLING. I have looked into the performance shows and none of them really catch my eye at this time. Any interesting ideas or some local good eats?

A must stop for me in Vegas is Four Kegs. Its an Italian joint. Excellent prices and large portions. I haven't been in a couple years, so I hope things haven't changed...

Then there is the usual stuff like Hoover Damn and Lake Mead.

The only way you wont find things to do is if you stay in your room. Get a room on the stripp and you'll find entdertainment. Be prepared to walk..

For me, a trip out to Hoover Dam is a must if you've never been -- easily the most interesting tourist destination in the Vegas area!

I detest everything about Las Vegas so, other than wishing you enjoy it much more than I do, I wouldn't be much help. However, I will have to keep 88's link in mind the next time I have to go.

Safe travels!

We went there last year with the kids (8 & 10 yrs), Our trip out to Hoover Dam was great, well worth it for us. We then spent a lot of time ( in the night) walking the strip and looking at all the stuff the hotel have to see. Also there is the show in Downtown Vegas-Fremont street experience.

I was hot, so we stopped at Ghiradli Ice Cream parlor on the strip for a sundae.
Theres the M&M, Coke a cola stores,

We stayed at the resort during the day to swim.
