I don't want to put my "hat" on, but if you have any sort of legitimate antivirus installed it would have picked it up and "fixed" it already.

Did someone say tinfoil hats?
I USED to be in that crowd. Honestly, now, when I see something from the govt that reads "Here to help" I run away from it like it's got v.d.

I do too...Some people just don't see it. It just comes from my time in the military I guess.....I know how the GOVT. works...we worked alot with CIA and DEA while on deployments...Bunch of freakin cloak and dagger wierdos....Being around them for any extended period of time and post people wouldn't trust them either...

With all of that said I also do not think out government is out to get anyone specifically, but when was the last time you intentionally downloaded a virus? I never have. ALL of the viruses I have had on my computer were simply from visiting a website and downloading their web page. It wouldn't be much a feat to get people to visit a specific FBI's web page that would download something onto our computers.

Norton informed me that viruses can be introduced into your computer by just clicking the 'close' window on some 'pop-ups'.

Hackers have set up the 'close' box so when you click it to close the advert, your computer's key-stroke on the close box is giving the virus permission to enter the computer.

I never click on a pop-up's 'close' window to get rid of the add but instead use my laptop's right clicker to close them so the cursor never touches the window.
