well another day of racing and another day of representing the Ford's. Had 3 races today 15, 15, and 25 lap races There were only 5 cars today in my class but it was better than last time. In our 25 lap feature race there was <1 second between 1st and 4th. Between 1st and 2nd there was only .003 of a second. I need to switch back to my bigger tires because with the camber I stuck in the tire I am taking the turns too fast and am pegging the rev limiter in 2nd before the end of the straight aways. Unfortunately I do not have the power in 3rd gear like I do 2nd. There is a an old VW that is 100% race (gutted and caged) that is very quick and very competitive. The yellow Honda got very sticky tires (stickiest we are allowed) and became very competitive as well. My sister got a video of me passing the VW on the last lap so I won that race. He braked a little too late and I squeezed through the inside on turn 2.

3 things to do before the next and final race in 2 weeks. That is..

Add more camber to the front passenger wheel.
Add camber to the rear passenger wheel
Switch back to the 15" rims which have a taller tire.

Also got my first contact today. The little yellow Honda got me on back bumper on the passenger side. There are 4 cars that are so equally matched its absolutely insane. My escort, the 2 Honda's and the VW

I will get the video from my little sister and be sure to post it.

entire a/c system is gone except the core behind the dash.

The video(s) are too big to email so my little sister put them on face book and i don't have facebook. I'll try to get them from her this weekend.

Best mod I did to this car is this license pate.

I put some camber in the front drivers wheel as well while I was at it. So the top is pulling outward, forget if that is positive or negative. Pulled out the drivers side headlight and turn signal to get more cooler air onto the air filter.

Also discovered I rubbed the white honda at some point lol

Honestly if anyone has ever considered doing something like this I HIGHLY recommend it. It's absolutely unreal fun.

it's fun on a budget, keeps the lady happy that you aren't at the bars and actually have a chance to bring some additional cash back

Ended up winning 2 out of the 3 races today. With my extra chassis work and the taller tires I am still maxing out 2nd gear. Gonna have to find some that a little taller for next year. The 1 race I won (15 lap) There was less than a bumper length between me and the VW. The 2nd race I won (25 lap) I just about put a full fender on him lol.

We have a fun race tomorrow afternoon and the season is done.

Oh and my car inherited a nick name today. The announcer still couldn't pronounce my last name. So he started calling my car the one eyed bandit. This is why lol....
