This is why you dont let your wife drive your just lifted truck
I am not sure on the complete story on this. Supposedly this guy just finished installing his lift and tires yesterday morning. By 12pm it was on a wrecker on its way to the shop. The wife was driving (so they say) down the freeway and somehow lost control and slammed into the right side retaining wall.

Rt Rear Wheel

That has to make you sick to your stomach to spend all that money only to destroy it a few hours later.

I am leaning more toward operator error on this one. The shop that did the lift is reputable. They do alignments in house and test drive everything before it is released. The truck also had a Bully Dog programmer installed and set to the highest setting. I have a feeling someone was trying to show off or just didnt anticipate the different handling of the truck after the lift & tires. Hard to be sure either way as I am sure we will never know the truth for insurance purposes...

Adjuster is coming out tomorrow. Hopefully I will have some repaired photos after a little while. Then we can have a happy ending to this thread
By the way. Would it look better to powder coat more of the front end white? possibly the steering linkage, sway bar or maybe even the axles. Any input would be appreciated. The customer likes the look of the white powder coat on the suspension and was debating whether to go a little farther with it considering we will have everything back apart again.

All I can see is the wheel got stuffed into the fender and jacked that up so the door may be hurt some as well, and the rear wheel. I don't see any other damage.
Personally, it looks good the way it is. Well, pre-wreck anyways. Too much white is just gaudy. I think the mirrors and step bars are to much.
