I remember my sisters watching American band stand when I was really little. Black and white TV maybe 65 or so. Seemed like he was never going to get old. Father time gets us all..

Sad to see him go. He's had some bad times these last few years.

I remember American Bandstand when I was a kid and his New Years Eve shows. He helped a lot of bands onto the road to fame. He will be missed.

Don Cornealius was the host.

He ended up sucking on the end of a pistol about a year or so ago.

Health probs and he didn't like getting old.

Growing old ain't for WUSSIES !!!!

Anyone can die young, but growing old is a challenge.

Soul train didn't come out til the 70's.. I never watched. I was a disco hater and soul train that to me spelled disco.. I listen to some of the old stuff now and some of it's not bad. Should have gave it a chance..
Clark is an icon of the 20th century for sure.

Same here with Disco. But, no matter what, you came across it while flipping channels. Had a cartoon or something at the beginning of the show, I think ? Back then I was into cartoons, still am, and changed the channel once it went to people jumping around grabbing at each other.

Sad isn't it?

I remeber when this forum used to be cool. I had a lot of fun here, but for some reason, it's changed, and isn't the same. Oh the good ol days of the F150online GD forum .... so long. BUT! It's still a great site for info on my truck.

Yeah, I remember Thumper. He was probably banned from this forum for breathing to heavy or something like that. I missed all the craziness that went down, but I heard it was insanity.
