400+ flights canceled at DFW, 120 planes out of commission for repairs and inspections due to hail damage

Tornadoes all over the county I live but we're all OK. Cleburne, Joshua, Burleson. Close one. One passed over my sister's place in SW Arlington after it tore up Kennedale. Wish I could have seen one but I was stuck at work.

Have family in Burleson and nieces that go to the new high school -- sent them a text but haven't heard back from them as of yet. Hopefully everything is ok on their end......

Update: Just heard back from my family and everyone survived.....

I haven't found anything about the Centennial HS being hit but my boy goes to Burleson HS and he said CHS got hit. He was in duck and cover at school for a while. Nothing from the mayor or the constable on facebook about it either. I went to school with them both.

My wife told me last night about 5:30 that Cennenial and Spinks both were hit. Don't think it was too severe, but some damage. All the Burleson schools were in lockdown. I later saw on the news that Spinks airport was hit, but that broadcast did not mention the high school.

Those trailers flying about were impressive, but not nearly so much as the ***** it takes to fly around in a helicopter during that storm.

Here's some pictures I just found from the destruction:

All DFW members okay after the tornados?-wsneg.jpg

and then the same house from the sky:

Oh, and apparently, that isn't that person's truck. So it flew there...
