Shaved heads..
Anyone here shave their head? I started clipping mine close about 7 years ago when i started to get real thin on top at the age of 32. I clip it once a week with electric trimmers with no guard. I have shaved it once or twice.. just to see what it was like. I just used a regular Fusion triple blade razor. I have seen commercials for actual razors you can use specifically for shaving heads that are rounded. Anyone use one of those? What kind of lubricant do you use? I was using shaving cream..
Reason i bring this up, i joined a rec league kickball team and our team name is the Balled and the Beautiful.. so happens quite a few of us are shaved or close trimmed heads. Was thinking i might keep mine shaved for the season...

My cousin started doing it about 10 years ago. He had really long hair back in the day and he started goind bald and all.. Really resisted it and has the old Galliger (comedian) hair style going on.. Finally he bit the bullet and shaved his head and he instantly looked 10 years younger. I cut my hair really short most of the time.. Its just easier..

I started way back in 1997 when the girl who was cutting my hair said, "We should start charging you a 'finders' fee besides the price of a haircut".
I've been saving 18$us ever since.
I always wear some sort of cover, too, because until you don't have hair on your head, you don't realize how much protection it provides from:
-UV rays
-sharp objects
-bumping your head into thangs.
Shave mine ever other day with a mug, Williams shave soap, shaving brush and a Schick Quattro Titanium.
Hot lather shave.............yeah, baby!!!

The head razor? Personally I've never used it, heard stories about it. I've only let my hair grow out a couple times since I was about six years old. Usually its either no guard or a high skin fade shadow on the top. People have been asking the last month or so if I'm going to let it grow out once I finally get out of the Army, just doesn't feel right letting it grow out. Every time I've taken it to the skin though it looks like Freddy Krueger tried giving me a massage on my head, to many lumps.

I've been doing it all summer for the last 12 years or so. Best way is with use clippers with no guard then every 4-6 days use a razor. I use a mach3 or a fusion in the shower. Lather with regular bar soap and go against the hair grain. It gets real real smooth and the places you miss are easy to feel. Ill use some shave lotion after the first few times in the spring but then just the soap works fine.

A few years ago, I started riding a motorcycle so I cut my hair short because of the helmet hair debacle.
Liked it, did it myself with clippers set to 1/2 inch. I just don't cut the very top that short. I use the scissors for that.
been cutting my own hair for almost 6 years now.
Going bald? I'm already ugly so I don't need that.
