Shaved heads..
Had my head shaved back in the 60's when they did it as an initiation entering college and once at Lackland AFB. Still have hair left at almost 65 year's old so why ruin what little I have left!
I keep mine short. I think it's the 1/4". If I let my hair grow I'd have a fro. I'd be one of the few white guys walking around with one.
When I was a kid in the 80's, I wanted to have long hair like my friends did. Everyone was into heavy metal and head banging.
I let my hair grow but it never got long. No matter what I did. My mother would tell me all the time to get a hair cut. I was determined to have long hair. It never happened, and looking back, I looked ridiculous!
A close cut is much easier to deal with.

Same here, but started using #2 here lately. But since it's getting hotter, back to #1 or shorter.
Before I opened this tread up, I thought it was about shaving your heads on your motor.

I've been shaving it since 1998. Started as a bet in college and it just stuck, so to speak. I have used almost every razor imaginable out there except for the special head shaver ones. I must say, the Mach 3 gets the nod from me. Winter time, I will shave once or twice a week. Summer time, its probably every other day. Lubricants for me vary. I've been shaving so long, i can tolerate a dry shave or just some water. Quite honestly, the best time for me is right after a run when my head is still sweating. Really dont need a mirror anymore either. Buzzing with clippers will be the cheapest route but wont get it smooth. Razors and blades can cost a little money but in the scheme of things, its probably still cheaper than going somewhere for a cut. Trade off will be that you wont have the pretty girls leaning all over you to cut your hair. Haha
