New Tools
When i started i bought all mac and snap on. Then i realized unless i used it alot or ended up breaking it the cheap line like kobalt or craftsman was good enough.
The stuff I use everyday is snap-on. Wrenches sockets, extension, ratchets and screwdrivers. Other stuff I use craftsman stuff because for the stuff I use maybe once a week or less I use other tools for. But my main tools for service is snap-on.
I know the price is really high, but I've never had a problem with them. I've never tried matco or mac but in the area I work there is no truck that comes by so we can buy tools. We have called a mac rep and he said sorry we don't have anyone in your area. So for me working everyday craftsman doesn't cut it..
I know I can buy off their website but I want to see the tool in person before I sink my money into it and obligate myself to use it.
