EPA rating on this one, awd with a 3.0L is 17 city, 23 highway, 19 average.... no where near what you are getting. Our Audi does about the same.

I get 450+ miles to a tank of gas consistantly. Thats 18 gallons at the most. I average 26-29 MPG. The ride is the best, the trunk could fit 15 MGDfans inside and still have room for a real man. If you find a better deal on a car BUY it... I have driven mine problem free (except one hib bearing) for over 2 years now and it is a very under rated car...

Havent updated this in a while. Been busy with work and non conflicting schedules between my wife and I's work hasnt allowed us to get out and buy anything yet. Tomorrow is the first time we both have had a day off so we are dead set on buying something. We have done a ton of internet shopping and know what we are after, a ford edge. If anyone has any good/bad input about them, feel free to spill it. We are looking at an 08 with 43k, fully loaded limited edition. Black leather, nav etc... for 19k

Going to drive 2.5 hours tomorrow to go look at it.

If you haven't bought yet take a look at the Honda CRVs. I bought my wife a fully loaded AWD09 EX-L with Nav. I am thoroughly impressed. It has all the bells and whistles, leather, heated seats, sun roof, voice activated controls. She averaged averaged almost 30 mpg, on the way home with about half of that running 75 mph. Combined around town and some highway it is running about 27, all town about 24.

Bought the edge. Only put 60 miles on it but love it. Pretty peppy for a small suv/crossover. I'll get some pics up after the carpets are dyed. Ended up finding a good deal on one with beige carpet and leather. I don't mind the lighter colored seats as they will wipe off easy (kids) but the carpet will not last the color it is. Only way I was buying it was if they were going to throw in some weathertech floor mats which were over $400 including the rear so they gave me the option to have all the carpets professionally dyed black at no additional costs, so I went for it. Well see how it turns out. Should contrast nice considering there is a lot of grey around the dash and door panels. Never seen carpet dyed... anyone have any input?. It comes with a 5 year warranty.

Also got a 6 month/6k mile bumper to bumper warranty thrown in for free. Taking it down tomorrow to have a full inspection done at ford including a compression test.

This is the first time that we have had 2 fords in our driveway. Took me 6 years to pry my wife's kung fu grip from the European auto market. Also, as of 3 years ago my parents have always owned a toyota pickup and 4runner throughout the years. About 3 years ago they bought an 03 F150 scab 5.4L (my recommendation)and have loved it since with no issues. Last year my mom traded her 4runner in for an 05? edge and loves it as well. If there was some sort of ford points/reward system Id be doing pretty well.

Just trying to get an idea of what the interior will look like
This is not mine but the same trim package as the one we just bought

These are some pics I have found of vehicles that have tan/beige leather on black carpet
