swipe?

Does anyone use the swipe keyboard instead of the multi-touch keyboard? The swipe thing is new to me, but i can see where it could be faster once you get used to it.

It's pretty darn easy once you get the hang of it. That's what I use now.

I hate it. Word predictability is not that good. I have to constantly update its built in dictionary. I have had it for 2 years now and somehow random words continue to make it into the dictionary. It is fast, if you can get the words correct. It doesn't suite me and I can't wait to switch back. I have the android 2.2 system on a google phone. I shouldnt be using a touch screen anyway, being my hands are always dirty from work. Maybe I'm just old school but I loved my old slide phone with push buttons. Everybody kept pressuring me to update my phone. bleh.

I didn't know they were out that long. I liked the iPhone set up. Not sure if that's exactly the same.

I have it an most of the time it is brilliant. However, there are the odd times when it thinks you really want to use a word and won't pick what you want to spell.

Get a good case/screen protector. I have an Otterbox Defender.

Every now and then I'll switch to it, then it annoys me and I'll switch back to normal input mode.
