Dang did y'all hear about Stewart's practice mechanic? So sad. Same age as me too. My thoughts are with his family and friends. R.I.P. Mark Adams.

That's horrible news.

Had not heard about it, so thanks for letting us know.

That's a shame he passed that way. Idiots who don't move over for cops/stranded motorists should get a ticket for it in my eyes.

I'm hoping to see good things for rv2's teammate Jake Weimer. He looks good this year. Hated to see him get stuffed and ran up by Stewart who could have easily passed him without doing that. Lites west champion this year will most likely be Wilson. I was happy to see cole seely do good and win at A1

Yeah I read they are pressing charges but they did not mention drugs/alcohol so I am wondering if the driver was texting or something.

Yeah Weimer has some speed but I don't think he has the confidence yet against the big boys. Stewart is always taking people out, sometimes that people is himself. lol.

I think either Wilson or Tomac will win West and Barcia should win East.

I got some free tickets to Anaheim this saturday! I haven't followed Supercross in a while, who is the favored son I want to watch?

I likes Stewart before he had his bad crash last year (?),never seemed like he came back 100%, but I think maybe Dungee will be making some noise this year.

Last time I went, Albertine was on Suzuki and the races were for 2nd place behind McGrath. Never cared for Lickme Carmichael either.

Kevin Windham is still out there and a big fan favorite. Shoot, he might even have been Alby's teammate on Suzuki back in the day,

A big part of the fun this year is there is no totally dominant rider like McGrath was. The four favorites in no particular order are Villopoto, Reed, Dungey and Stewart. They are on Kawi, Honda, KTM and Yamaha, respectively. Mike Alessi is back on a privateer Suzuki and has a history of getting good starts, but he is not exactly a fan favorite.

I remember when it was McGrath, Albertyn, and Laraco all on factory suzuki. I went to a signing and got a team factory suzuki hat signed by all three. Still have it to this day.

We just got all our tickets for Arlington. Section 307 row 10 seats 7-13 and row 11 seats 7-13. Not bad at $67 a piece.

Windham is always a fan favorite and he does great in the mud so if rain is a factor don't count Windham out. Windham has been around so long it is hard for me to remember all the teams he has been on and who his teammates were but I believe Windham was on Yamaha back when Albertyn was around.

I agree with you 100% about the top four. It is definitely making for some awesome racing this year.

Alessi is better outdoors than indoors as long as he can keep it on two. He is a great starter though. Always has been.

Did a little web research, and FWIW, Windham rode Suzukis in '01 and '02. He was on Honda in '99 and '00, and Yamaha for a few years before that. He went pro in '94 on a Kawasaki.

Albertyn retired in '00.

Yeah I was pretty sure he was never on a team with Albertyn.

Anaheim was great Saturday night. My seats were right where Stewart ate it, that was an ulgy crash. Good track and very good racing, even the Lites were a good show.

Yeah, I was amazed Stewart came back from that crash in the heat race to get 2nd in the main.

I do think he was riding over his head when he went down. Usually that kind of crash finishes his season. Perhaps this will be his year.
