Duracell Firefighter Program

You guys remember those commercials ran by Duracell a few months back?

Well they came through. UPS decided to place the 65-lb brick of batteries in front of the station door, hampering my response to a propane fire tonight, but when we got back, we opened our present:

We're not sure how much they gave us, but we all got a good handful. I took a 30 pack, a 20 pack and a 12 pack. We will use these for our Minitor IV pagers, radios, and Scott Packs (air bottles), among other personal uses.

Thanks Duracell!

How did you apply for this? We also use ALOT of batteries around our fire station as well.

We didn't apply. I was curious about it as well. They just showed up. I went to OfficeMax today and the duracell batteries by the register still had it advertised. dunno
