I'll x3 on the sleep issue -- there is nothing more sleep-depriving than being a parent! Enjoy the last few months you have of feeling refreshed when you wake up because once that kid comes along, those days are over!
The best way I can describe what parenthood does to "life as you know it" is that it's somewhat akin to having a nuclear bomb go off in your backyard......
