They called the cops out for a snake??? Around here it would have been, "Santa forgot to skin my new boots! Junior go get my gun."

That would carry more weight, if I haven't been seeing evidence of serious deer over-population all along the I-30 thoroughfare in AR. Did you guys take a hunting holiday this year or what?

No, we still try to out as many as possible in the freezer. The numbers are soaring. I think it is due to several years of good food and mild winters. They upped the limit to 6 from 4 and many town now have urban bow hunts to thin them out of the cities. Along I-30 from LR to Texarkana has one of the highest concentrations of deer in the state.

Didn't know that the snake would dive thought they just swim on top weird

Along the road is the safest spot. The game wardens watch for road hunting pretty close.The deer know there is a 100yd safe zone where they get shot at less, just gotta stay out of the middle part.
