Website Feedback
Hey guys, I'm looking for some feedback on a website I just got done putting up for our company (see my other thread: Starting a Business) and I would appreciate it if you have a second. Also, if you are on Facebook, give us a like!
Thanks,

Looks pretty nice raptor! Like everyone said, the navigation is simple and easy to understand, quick page load times, and not a lot of flash where it makes the pages annoying to read after a while.
Trending Topics
The layout is good, but the content is lacking... The banner at the top of your webpage is dull, and doesn't need to have your full address. Put that at the bottom of the page with the copyright info. It's very easy to scroll right past the name on the banner.
The content on the main page... Just says We are blah blah blah. Again, no mention of company name. Make it say something like "We here at Procom" yada yada yadda.
In the about us section, don't say "Both of us..." It makes you seem like a small company.
Nice Photochop on the van though.

What looks like a typo on the main page
Should this be Professional installation, ....
The other thing, to me it reads a bit hinky ( could be a replaced end user tested OK thing ).
Maybe something along this ??
- This still needs lots of work. I am still trying to figure out the business prop to be able to follow the std lines. Tell them what you are going to tell them, tell them, tell them what you told them, this is missing that mark a bit.
See messaging needs some work still. I did not follow the std lines, but I am still putting together what Procom South does to be able to make a cohesive message. Too much with the From / To and needs, but it was tossed together without enough background or time on it.
Stay away from words like simple. It can make it seem like they can just price shop the product like socks and DIY it. You don't want to set this stage with a services company.
The other thing it sets in the back of someone's mind, 'They think this is simple, I have no clue that is why I am looking for Procom. Do they think I am dumb ??'
Do you have a list of everything Procom does ?
I got :
radio installation
Software programming
Radio sales/support
Base-station setup
Tower installation/removal
Antenna tuning (base or mobiles)
Repeater services
Dispatch/Call Centers
Coax cable maintenance
Is Procom going only radio, or is this also going to be LTE products as well once the spectrum opens up ( and the transition in place from UMTS to LTE ) ?
Think of not only today, but also the next 3 years, so the messaging can be put in place at the start. It does not have to be a statement of LTE public service spectrum products ( that are not ready for usage ) but the message of future proofing or along those lines needs to have the stage set.
On the about us page, make common email addresses that go to you and Wayne.
Don't point out the company is 2 guys and a dog.
Use the Sales@ & Info@ standard emails as the contact info.
Getting the message right day 1 stops the company looking for a business stink about it.
Also unless the site is ready for release, don't plaster it everywhere ( the FB link on the about us page ) while it is in flux.
Makes the company look as if they are just starting out, where I got the idea that Wayne has been doing this for some time.
Profession installation, tuning, and programming for Kenwood and ICOM radios are other services we offer in addition to a list of great radios that will help lower your business or personal communications needs

Thanks for the comments guys, this really helps me make it better. I wanted some responses before I said anything. The site has about 3 man hours worth of work on it. We are still awaiting our orders from some dealers to come through so we still do not have any hardware in stock (yet). I plan to add more "pop" to it, but then again this is with GoDaddys website builder (in terms of photo editing, its like MS Paint compared to Photoshop or Corel) so I will be somewhat limited. Hopefully we can maybe find someone with more experience and better software to make this larger.
Zaiir, thats not a PS. That is our van. At the moment, it really is just us two. Our target audience is public service, farmers, truckers, CB/amateur individuals, corporations, etc. Anything that utilizes VHF/UHF radios and their systems. Our hardware will be Kenwood and ICOM radios, with support for most Motorola products.
SSCULLY, you are correct that Wayne has been doing this for a long time, I am just starting out and learning. Once I get a minute I'll re-read your post to get a full breakdown (I'm running out the door right now).
Thanks to all who replied.
