I would say cover the winch from gettin mud in it? but shouldnt that be water proof?

covering an electronics box of some sort?

So here is the final product:




Nope, doesn't protect the winch, the winch is water resistant.



You're getting closer Raptor, "under the truck" but where?




At any rate, after mending all the pieces together, sanding it "lightly" and making my well manicured lawn look like a volcano erupted near by....



I painted it.

Now I'm waiting for it to dry so I can install and let you guys in on the mystery.

do you have anything under it that would need covering? wires? fuel pump on the frame rail?

So, I've not liked my wires exposed after all the room had to be created around my front wheel well to allow for tire travel.

I decided yesterday to fabricate my own cover. Though some of you would like the idea so you can cover the area around your truck's bed wheel well to prevent mud from become trap under the bedside's wheel well.

Looks good man. Are you also glassing between the fender and bumper? Kinda looks like you got some body filler on there

That is a sweet setup for sure. Wish I had somthing like this on my truck. Did you think about adding slits for cooling. I wonder if the engine bay is going to get to hot since theres no air flow in the wheel wheel now.
