Very Eventful Morning with a unwanted guest

Our neighbor has been missing alot of animals lately and has found a few dead. We had no idea what it could be.. This morning i let the dogs out and they start barking very loud and it didnt seem like a regular bark. So i stepped out the back door and heard kinda of a low pitch growl and it was not coming from the dogs. I got the dogs back in and went and got the rifle. Stepped out the back door and found our unwanted guest just on the other side of our fence.

I thought it was going to be another toad!

But this is a little bit more than that!

Glad you got it!

Already dropped him off at the taxidermy..

I had to leave the tailgate down on the truck this morning while i was taking him to the taxidermy. Got some real good looks from people going down the road.

Nope. Bobcat.

Real pretty one, too. Hard to tell the size as there is nothing to show scale.

Very nice trophy, one of the ladies at work had one coming in and killing her rabbits earlier this year. She had asked me to come shoot it but it moved on before I could get out to do it otherwise I would have had a nice mount in my office right now.

I'll have to check that out when I get home. It has been a while since I have seen one around here.

Nice trophy! I've seen a few when I'm out bow hunting but they always seem to be out of range. I keep thinking one of these days I will see one during gun season.

Had another unwanted visitor this morning

I think its a bullsnake, i wasnt going to kill him but he was very agressive towards me and the dogs, and with my 13 month old starting to play outside i decided it was best to kill it.
