You independently wealthy by any chance? Yea, I know the GOOD cordless are pricey. I saw a story somewhere a while back about the wrecking yards using GOOD ones like Snap-on to do all the wheel removals in the yard. Plenty of charged up batteries and they just keep goin' like the energizer bunny. Plenty of power and they may even use L-ion batteries.

No not independently wealthy but when these tools make you money because that's what you do for a living you tend to by good stuff so your not buying new ones's every couple months...

It's called hard work and save up.. Instead of saying I NEED one now bust your *** without for a couple weeks or months and then buy one that will last..

I've got an orange cased 1/2 drive electric form HF. I've used it a few times, and don't remember having any problems with it.

One of my personal rules when buying discount tools. "If it comes with a free set of brushes for the armature, pass on it. It is crap"' Hope that helps on of you someday.

I usually use the Ingersoll when I need an impact.

he got both the impacks 4 batts and a charger for 100 bucks!!!

Best tool for rotating tires.

I've been wanting to rotate my tires, so when I saw the Mechanics Combo Kit on sale at sears yesterday with the c3 Impact Wrench and Lithium Ion batteries it bought it.

WOW I'm impressed. It zipped the lug nuts right off, all 24 of them. I'll admit, I torqued my lug nuts to 150 ft/lbs the last time I had the tires off, so it may not work as well if if the shop over torqued your lugs with an air wrench. It was great not to lug an air hose around. It had a lot of power for such a small unit. It's amazing how much power these LION batteries put out.
