Project Cars/Trucks
What type of project cars/trucks do people here have? I've been thinking about getting a project vehicle like a Gen1 Lightning because I love the way those trucks look or a VW Buggy for summer time.
Besides my truck. haha I have a 65 mercury comet caliente that I am restomodding. Can't wait to bring it to cali so I can start working on it again. Gonna go grab it from ND after I get back from my deployment next summer.

Here's my project/mud truck. 88.5 Suzuki Samurai.
the tires that are on it are on craigslist and as soon as they sell i will buy a set of 39.5 inch boggers for it.
We (mostly he but I have a lot of hours invested) just finished off my brothers 67 Nova this spring. There are some pictures in my folder from when he was trying to figure out some wheels. I need to get some new "finished product" ones taken.
I have a 79 Mustang Coupe. The first year of the Fox Body Mustangs. It is currently being used as a shelf as I troll around for a reasonably priced BB 460 to stuff into it. The body work is done it just needs everything else. If I can stop spending money on my truck I can get back to work on the Mustang.

My '05 F-150 and my '08 Mustang are my projects -- my goal is to keep them as low-mileage, pristine examples of FoMoCo vehicles from this era (both are garaged and neither are daily drivers) that will one day be passed along to my son when he becomes a responsible adult.
The Mustang is a blast to drive bone-stock, so that's largely the way it will stay beyond a few bolt-on items like rims, tires, exhaust, grille, etc.
The truck has also only been modified with bolt-ons up to this point, although I have toyed with the idea of supercharging it in the future. This would take away much of its originality, but would also make it much more fun to drive, so I'm kind of torn on which course is best.
I will probably add an '02-'05 Thunderbird to this mix in the next few years, but we'll see where my automotive moods take me.....

I'm liking all these project cars everyone has, now how often do you guys spend money or work on these cars? I'm looking at just having a project car that the wife and I can enjoy together and decide what to and what not to do with it (ie: paint scheme, etc).
I'd love to get a 78 or 79 F-150 to restore.
Had one at one time to restore, that dream got pushed on the back burner and ended up getting rid of it. Still kick myself almost everyday for getting rid of it.

If I can ever get the chance, the two vehicles I want to have are a 1995-1997 Standard cab F350 7.3L PSD and a 2003/2004 Terminator Cobra. The truck I want bone stock the Cobra I'd love to make that one hell of a sleeper. I hope to be able to get those someday
Right now Im not building a car or truck but Im rebuilding a 95 Tigershark jet ski... Something different to play with
This was my first build. I did all the work myself when I was 19. I really miss this truck
