Yep, I realize that now. I think the C-17 was built to replace the C-141 and the C-130. Thought you may like the Old School video of Old Shakey! Take care.

Thanky. Been real busy this week to take too many more pictures.

Wings and a winglet

There is this stupid song that is always playin' every ten minutes on the local radio that our crew has adopted as this deployments motto. Did some checking around and I found a new friend over in supply that can draw my idea so we could get a patch made, and I think it came out pretty good.

And the video of the worst song and video if you are bored. Get out your glowsticks as well.

Stay safe my friend. Great photos! I'm going to try as hard as I can to get as many photos as possible from the Stan when I go.

For sure. You'll never forget any of your trips, but it is nice to show others. Still haven't forgot a single day of any of my trips.

Very cool photos!!

Do you ever get to work Canadian Air Force Planes?? I know USA and Canada sometimes share the same bases.

Friends of mine in the service say they work with the USA all the time and share stuff and eat together.

I have not touched a Canuck jet yet actually. Worked all the other foreign birds however.

Towing a British bird.

Towin the first jet Qatar bought.

Fixed an Aussie jet and got this coin.

Qatar's second jet was the first and so far only C-17 to get a pretty paint job and clear coat. Some hate, but I love it, and have given an assist on the fuel quantity system.

Even turned a wrench and deiced one of the Nato birds.

Just never bumped into our northern neighbor's yet.

http://youtu.be/Dwk_TYVwkU0 Adrian, this is a C-121 Super Constellation. Same type of aircraft I flew on from New Orleans to Hickam AFB in Hawaii. They were still flying these in 1971.
