Beach Boys

Saw them in concert the other night, took them a few songs to get up to their harmony, but after they got going they sounded as good as ever. Love that old rock'n'roll. Makes me want to learn how to surf!

Also enjoy their music.

I hope they played some of their old hot rodding songs, too.

Little Deuce Coupe, 409, Shutdown, etc... were every bit as good as the surfer songs.

PawPaw excellent choice.

I keep hitting the replay on any Beach Boy CD I have in the car when Fun Fun Fun comes one. Especially the "licks" at the beginning.

Try listening to some Jan and Dean, same kind of music as the Beach Boy's. Early to mid 60's music we had on AM radio back then!

Oh yes, they played all of their old standards, hot rod songs and all. Little Deuce Coupe was great! Oddly enough, Little Surfer Girl was the one with the most people slow dancing with their wives. They played a few new songs, which weren't bad. Christian Love is playing drums for them now, I was hoping I would see John Stamos but he didn't show, lol. Their harmony was great.

Pet Sounds and Holland. Best of the Best.

The Beatles "Sgt. Pepper" wouldn't have been written without the influence of Pet Sounds.

Only two I own these days.
