Bad experience w/Ford Truck Enthusiasts Forum
I would like to throw my 2 cents out there on this. A lot members on here and else where will spend a lot of timing reading and searching but not a lot of posting. They don't comment on every post about oil viscosity, pics of lifts, rims, intakes, exhausts, etc. This stuff has been beat to death on this forum. They may come across dtc Pxxxx which almost all have been beat to death as well. Anyway something I would like the moderators to consider is implementing a 3 month or 10 post rule to the classified section. Whichever comes first.

You are onto something though.
I wondered if I was the only one banned after the first post. Guess not. I was having trouble finding a solution for slow turn signals on my 92 F-250. Finally tried the forum, and after wading though the good, bad, and garbage posts, I found one suggesting using an LED flasher instead of the OEM flasher given that it uses the actual voltage instead of heat in the line to break the circuit. I googled led flashers and found one that would be worth a try. It worked and I put in my first post after registering on the site. It included the part number, cost, source, and how well it fit, and worked along with my vehicle and details of my search. My post appeared for a few hours and then was removed along with a nasty gram from the moderator ( IB Tim) claiming I was the "spammer of the worst kind," and that I was banned " for ever." I pointed out to them that I used an F-250 header thread for the same vehicle as my guide for the post since it contained the exact same elements that I put in my post. That being the source, part number, name and cost. I still have not heard back from them. You try and do other readers a service to save them wasted time under their dash, and for your efforts you get a sarcastic email and are banned from the site by the moderator. I read the post rules and this was not spam imo.

glc (and everyone else) - I'm pretty sure he's referring to FTE. I KNOW I did not remove a post of that type from him, nor would I, after reading it. I'm certain Bluejay and Patman would see such a post the same way. Bluejay's comment referred to the way our automatic spam filters function, they don't ban people, but they DO bring questionable posts to our attention.
Please notice also, that Roger has not been banned from this site. He has a "0" post count due to posting only in General Discussion.
And, I think YOU know all this. My comments are for other members that may have questions about how we do things here.
