Almost complete

Now that I am in the 95% range of completion I thought I would share a couple of pics of my acomplishment with you guys. This is why I haven't had the time or money to do anything to my truck. I did buy some fogs a couple of months ago and I'll tell you what, They look awsome sitting in the BOX. Hopefully I'll get to them soon.
These are photos of my porch. The only thing I didn't self perform was placing the concrete. If I do anything like this again I won't be doing it myself. takes too much of a toll on a person.
Any way here are the photos. Enjoy and let me know what you think.

I'd go LED myself: more contrast, less energy consumption as well.

Looks awesome!

i've got an optima projector making about a 15x8 ft. screen in my basement. imo i love projectors and they are cheaper than normal tv's but i wouldn't use one outside because it needs to be in a dark room to see well. also the bulbs don't last as long as a tv, but they're usually a couple hundred bucks to change.

Looks good. That's coming from a 15 year journeyman carpenter. The detail in the trim and rails sets it off nice.

Where's the entrance from the house? Is that a bay window or a door...

Guys, Thanks for the compliments.

Dillion, I didn't think about the lighting with a projector. That kind of seals the deal on that.

Yeah, I used 2x12 for the top of the rails. The reason being that my wife likes plants and now she can set them anywhere as long as there is room for me to set a cold one. The door is between the chimney and the bay window. Its just a 2-8 door. I want to take out that bay window and put in a set of french doors with reverse swing where that bay window is now. Since the bay is in the kitchen I think for 1 it would look nice and 2 give easier access to the porch from the kitchen.

Again, thanks for the compliments

Looks great. What did you use to stain/paint the concrete?

I used behr simi-transparent stain. Used a cheap pump sprayer to apply.
It turned out pretty good. I also took a mini grinder with a concrete wheel and ground down various areas to give it a older look. Turned out nice.
