Bought a chevy

That's right flame on boys haha

Still have my ford but I went to the dark side and bought my woman the hoe she wanted.

It's a 1 owner 04 lt dark blue metallic tahoe with grey leather, second row buckets and third row. Its pretty nice and very clean and only 88k on it.

She's happy so I'm happy. Now I just get to get her a radio in the coming months.

Pics you ******.

More tomorrow. And I'm ready to mod this one also. Thinking ptm bumpers and flares.

, A tahoe is about the only chebby i would own. The wife keeps looking at them, they seem to hold their value really well though, and hard to find a great deal on them. Looks Good

Yea that's what I told her. They do hold value well and are very reliable. I wanted an 05/06 but there were only ones with 60-80k and were over priced or 100+ and dirt cheap but rough. There was a large selection of 04's though

I bought a GMC van recently an 01 with only 54k on it.it has been a POS so far.. Fuel pump went out fan broke water pump broke interior falling apart. It came with equipment I need for my business that I really like but the van has been a major disappointment in comparison to the e series vans I've owned.. hope you have better luck!

This one was just at 14k out the door. There was a 05 z71 2wd we looked at with 100k for 12.5k out the door but it was too rough. Too many scratches and small dings and then the carpet was stained and driver seat needed a panel or 2 replaced and the speedo didn't work but that would have been fixed. Deal breaker was when it needed wheel bearings up front.

I've always heard the if you go outside on a quiet night you can hear a chevy rusting. Can you check if it's true?

I might be wrong, but I'm almost positive that there is no such thing as a 2wd Z71. Z71 is the offroad package I thought. Z66 or something like that has the equivalent interior upgrades but is only 2wd.

Starting in 05 they made both a 2wd and 4wd z71 in the suburban and tahoe. The 2wd got the appearance package and everything else but 4x4. On the Current body style silvy though z71 is just skid plates etc and doesn't mean 4x4 like it used to.

Wow, 2 "new to you" vehicles in one month? That money burning a hole in yer' pocket?

We had an 04' Denali in our fleet for the wife a few years back. It was pretty nice and had the 6.0, which passed mostly everything but the gas station. We traded it in, in 08' for a new Escape. The cost of fuel and my wife's commute made us decide it wasn't worth it. Good luck with it.

Ha yea well we went from a 98 f150 and 07 nitro and landed both 04's for pretty good deals.

We did look at some denalis with the 6.0 but most were overpriced for the condition. She doesn't have a commute now other than running around town doing errands so it'll get her by and is what she wanted. And ubfortunaltely don't see her wanting anything smaller in the future

Yea, you pay a lot for that Denali name I think. Buddy of mine had an 04' Tahoe Z71 and honestly they were very similar trucks. And yea, my wife misses hers now and she doesn't have that long commute anymore, so we've been looking too.
