New Explorer and other pics

After looking around for about 3 months for my wife a new Explorer we finally found one that we both liked. Picked it up this past Saturday.

Thought that I would also add in a couple of my truck and other toy, 2010 850XP Polaris Sportsman, as well.

Limited or XLT? The shiny chrome rims and the grill make me think Limited.

How do y'all like it so far? I'm trying to convince my mom to ditch her prehistoric E150 Regency Custom for a 2012 Explorer.

Its an XLT, but it has all the options that you can get on it. I just couldnt justify spending $50k for the Limited. We really like this one. My parents had a 2008 and it rode terribly. This one rides really well and almost car like. I assume this has to due with it no longer being built on a truck frame. This is a nice step-up from her previous Fusion. (Fusion was a great car by the way.)

I think Ford has geniuses working in the design department in the last few years. That thing is GORGEOUS.

Can you tell me if those projectors are halogen or xenon?

I think the new frame work it just a beefier and redesigned Edge frame. But I may be wrong. It does already resemble the Edge's older sibling.

I would still drive one if I had the needs for it. But $50k is just RIDICULOUS! Car prices are becoming extremely outrageous nowadays....stupid economy...

All the Limited and XLTs I saw at Grand Prairie Ford Saturday had Halogen projectors, but I do know for a fact you can upgrade to HID because one blinded me last night thanks to the idiot not realizing the high beams were on...

I'm with you on this one, that truck if sweeet looking. In the looks department Ford has been doing very well. The 2012 Taurus even looks better, can't wait to see what the new Expedition and Mustang are going to look like.

I still haven't been able to find any major changes to the new 2012 Taurus vs. the 2011, other than the revamped grill and front fascia...

as for the Mustang, what are they changing now!? I hope it's the rear fascia, because everything else looks PERFECT!

And the expy needs a facelift...LOL
