No more argument, well if they combined them...

Doesn't matter, its still down to personal choices, both are good trucks but if I bought a new truck today it would be a 1500 chevy.
And the trucks should be combined because they are basically the same truck, but the Lincoln's should be included with the F-150 as well.

I wouldnt touch another GM product. I bought a GMC van and sold my super reliable E-350 here recently because I thought I was getting a good deal on a low miles van. Big mistake I've spent thousands keeping that POS on the road.
Now how much can you really back this statement? I work for an electric company reading meters. We have chevys from 99-current. mostly the 07+ NBS. Those trucks get the ever lovin sht beat out of them. when were not bouncing (and i mean really bouncing) down oil lease roads and bogging through the mud were in town going in and out of gear in and out of driveways. the trucks run for 7 hours a day usually. And i can 100% say that they are tough trucks. I cant think of a time ones broke down. the suspensions tight, and theres no rattles in the cab. I'm not saying its something a Ford couldn't do, but a ford would have gone through plenty of front end parts. and i dont really trust the 5.4 3v and transmission.

GM trucks in general are not up to par with Fords as far as quality.
A guy I know works at a mine where they're going through mud, rocks, ruts while the bed is full of equipment. They used to have both Chevy/GM and Fords. By the time the Chevy's were at 50-75000 miles they'd have to rebuild the front ends on just about all of them. Some of them needed transmissions also, granite not all of them though. The Fords have minimal problems. Most of them go 100,000+ before needing anything done to the front end and there has not been any engine/transmission failures. One guy rolled his F350 over last year going down a mining road, they rolled it back over and that truck is still in service today.
Ever take a look at what the guys working road constuction are driving? The Fords overweigh the GM's and Dodges. Most towing companies I see have Fords also.

Did you miss the part where i said i'm driving one all day? Or are you talking about his specifically? i guess you're saying the interiors feel cheaper than a fords? the 07+ do feel "cheaper" in a way compared to the previous gen. but they're still just as tough as ever and thats all that matters in a truck. to me at least. i had an '03 chevy and the quality was just as good as my '01 ford.

99-07classics are great trucks to me, the newer fords as in 2009+ are awesome too. fords are higher and chevys ride better. ford has torque chevy has the horsepower and I believe they are lighter too. what makes me like the chevys alot too is that they turn a lower rpm and shift faster/firmer
the 99-07's also have a nicer interior then the new chevy's do

Ya, mostly everything is 3/4 ton and up. Few half tons, not a lot though.

Of course I'm talking about his truck, considering that's the truck I'm talking about!
