Nah! But I did see him roast Donald. I was surprised Donald sat there and took it!

Actually, they have followed through on almost every account -- they've simply been over-ruled by the Democrat-controlled Congress. This will be a compelling reason for Americans to provide Republicans with majorities in both chambers of congress in 2012.....

Where are the jobs, what happened to healthcare? There is no instant gratification, Obama could not just turn around the economy when it was on a downwards spiral. Sure his plans were not the best but it still could hae been alot worse. I still do not think that republicans will have nearly as big of a day as they did in 2010.

Your assuming that I mean that, im saying that Obama is the head guy, so everyone is quick to blame him, but the House and Senate are just as responsible for whats going on. If the House and Senate were so "responsible" there would have been alot less bills passed.

I'm actually glad that only one chamber of congress went fully under republican control. Sure beats having all democrats and them passing spending bills left and right. At least now, nothing will happen... and by Blu3expy's logic, Obama will take the heat, meaning we'll be able to get him out of office next year

See? It's easy to understand what I am saying. Obama is the Head of State so he will take the heat, and he probably will be gone. It's too bad he did not live up to his campaign promises because if he did he would be one hell of a president.

Creating a budget recommendation that contained cuts in ALL area, to curb spending is not following through ? I seem to recall this was one of the major items on the list of republican campaigns.

Why is it Obama not only gets to turn in his budget late ( act passed in 1921 states by 1st MON in February ) but when he sees the House budget recommendation is, he gets to make additional budget recommendations ?
- He is out of the process after the 1st MON in February until the final bills for spending are put on his desk for him to sign or veto.

Guess Obama gets to ignore budget laws, and it is not news worthy...

I don't know what news you watch, but the fact that he missed the deadline is mentioned alot...

Try a google search for it the only hits that come up are for the appropriation bills for FY11 ( gov shut down - Which oddly enough it is not mentioned how many of them he vetoed, at least other than a by line in an article ).

I see the headlines about how Obama is submitting budget recommendations after the house plan was made public, but no mention that the POTUS is not part of the process until the voted on bills are submitted to him for signature.
The MSM makes it seem as if Obama is trying to help things.
Where were these cuts when he got around to submitting the budget recommendations in FEB ? Looks like a case of oh crap, had better cut some of that spending that was submitted, the House figured it out...

Back to your statement:
The House is following through on what they said they would do - Cutting ALL spending and not driving the country farther in debit.
Nothing about tax cuts for the rich or any of the items that are usually tossed out as the reason not to support a plan by Republicans.
This is a plan that is ( to use your statement ) Fair and Balanced, every spending item has pain in the FY12 budget, as the income is not there.

The Senate is tossing it in the trash can, and starting a pissing match with nothing to counter point the House recommendations with. Guess the House got the plan underway immediately and caught them off guard.

Senate fun fact, it has been 750 days since the Senate passed a budget for public presentation and public debate. Previously they let the House do as they wish for the budget recommendations, and that plan ( without a check or balance ) is what was signed into law. The Senate got used to sitting around doing nothing, until now. It is May, and the Democrat controlled Senate still has not submitted anything.
The Senate cannot figure out what to submit with a budget recommendation, but they know an across the board cut for every expense item is not the way to do it. Who is the blame placed on for the budget processing being gridlocked ?

I'm just saying I see it on the news all the time. And yes it is the senate who is most at fault because they wont do anything, but are they not bringing the Ryan budget up for a vote?
