Duct free split air conditioner

Anyone have or install these? I have an older bi-level with only window air condioners for the bedrooms and a wall mount in the living/dining room.
The cost of cooling the entire house with central (attic hookup) would be more then just cooling the rooms we want to most of the time. We like it cool to sleep. Not sure if the ones have separate thermostats so we can just cool the bedroom until we really need the other ones on.....thought?

Thanks.....Jim

I have installed a few while working for the company I am at. They are nice for older homes or other places ductwork is not practical. I would just stay away from LG units, some of the units are non servicable. I swapped out an outdoor unit last week for a bad compressor.
